BMI Calculator is designed with privacy at its core. We believe your health data belongs to you and only you. That's why we've built our app to work entirely on your device without collecting, storing, or transmitting any personal information.
Information We DON'T Collect
BMI Calculator does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email, or any personal identifiers
- Your weight, height, or BMI calculations
- Your health history or tracking data
- Your location or device information
- Analytics or usage statistics
- Any data from your device
Data Storage
All data you enter into BMI Calculator is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure Core Data framework. This means:
- Your data never leaves your device
- We have no servers that store your information
- There is no cloud sync or backup to external services
- Your data is protected by your device's built-in security
- If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed
Third-Party Services
BMI Calculator does not integrate with any third-party services, including:
- No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
- No advertising networks
- No social media integrations
- No crash reporting tools
- No external APIs or web services
Permissions
BMI Calculator does not request or require any special permissions. The app does not access:
- Your camera or photos
- Your contacts or calendar
- Your location
- Your microphone
- Any health data from HealthKit
Data Export
When you choose to export your data as PDF or CSV:
- The export is generated locally on your device
- You control where the file is saved or shared
- We do not receive or have access to exported data
- Standard iOS sharing options apply based on your choices
Children's Privacy
BMI Calculator can be used by people of all ages. Since we don't collect any data, there are no special considerations for children's privacy. Parents can confidently allow their children to use the app knowing no information is being collected or shared.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app's update notes and on this page. The "Last Updated" date below will indicate when the policy was most recently revised.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect any data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) don't apply. However, you always have complete control over your data:
- View all your data within the app at any time
- Export your data in standard formats
- Delete individual records or profiles
- Remove all data by deleting the app
